With Château de Courcelles le Roy, you will be enchanted by the mysterious and romantic charm of the ruins, and a rustic-chic wedding will benefit from a variety of locations available to set up a dinner, drinks reception and a ceremony.

If you are looking for an intimate location, and you love old stones and visible beams, Le Petit Valot is the right pick for you. With its chalet look, it is also an ideal venue for a winter wedding, less than 2 hours from Paris. 

If you want to celebrate your wedding connected to nature and wild animals, without a worry about the weather, the Etangs des Vignes and its large stretch tent with a view on the ponds will win you over.

Are the vendors imposed? Recommended?

“No, they aren’t imposed. However, we strongly encourage that you use the vendors off our recommended list, they offer quality services and are used to the venues. Because they know the venues, the logistics of the wedding day will be in better control.”

Is there a curfew to the party?

“No, there is none. You can party all night!”

Is there a corkage fee?

“No, there isn’t.”

What are the check-in and check-out times for a weekend rental?

"On the weekend, the check-in is from 4pm on Friday, and check-out is 4pm on the Sunday.”

Is it possible to check in early to start with the wedding preparations? If so, what time is acceptable?

“If possible, the bride and groom will be able to check-in early, with 1 or 2 couples to start with the preparations. Please, ask us ahead of time”

What equipment is available onsite (tables and chairs, sound system, lighting...)?

“Round and rectangular tables are available, as well as up to 200 chairs. The reception room is equipped with party lights, a sound system, a video-projector and a set of wireless microphones.”

Is there someone in charge of security during the wedding night?

“Yes, a security agent will be present onsite during the entire night to ensure guests’ safety, and to make sure the equipment is working properly (sound, lighting...)”

Who sets up the tables and chairs for dinner in the reception room?

“We ask that you give us your seating plan ahead of time, so we can see how you want the tables and chairs to be placed. Our team will be in charge of setting them up for you, and putting them back.”

Will the venue be available to give me advice on how to plan my wedding?

“Our team will be available throughout your planning process to give you guidance.”

Even if we don’t impose any vendor, we have many recommendations to share with you. You can be assured of the quality of these vendors’ products/services that I urge you to try if you can! Not only do we vouch for their quality, we also suggest these vendors because they know the lay out and logistics of the venues, which makes for a smoother set up on the wedding day. The recommended vendors also tend to know each other, which facilitates the on the day coordination.

Don’t underestimate their knowledge of our venues and don’t hesitate to ask them for some advice  ;)

As soon as you have chosen your wedding venue, you should get in touch with 2 to 3 caterers in order to plan for tastings and make your final decision.

Use local products

If you have chosen to get married in our beautiful region, you probably want to show your guests the specialties that the area has to offer. Our gastronomy and local wines are unbelievable. Whether you want some homemade ice-cream, local cheese, meat or wine, out little black book is full of references.
